Android Devices
1. Open Wi-Fi Settings
Go to Settings > Network & Internet (or Connections, depending on your device).
Tap Wi-Fi to see available networks.
2. Access Network Details
Tap the gear icon (⚙) next to the connected Wi-Fi network.
In the network details screen, locate Advanced Settings.
3. Change MAC Address Settings
Under MAC Address Type, select Device MAC instead of Randomized MAC.
Save the changes and reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.
Apple Devices (iPhone/iPad)
1. Open Wi-Fi Settings
Open Settings on your device and tap Wi-Fi.
2. Access Network Options
Tap the small (i) icon next to the connected network to view its settings.
3. Disable Private Address
Toggle the Private Address option to Off. A warning might appear indicating reduced privacy.
Reconnect to the Wi-Fi network to apply the change.
Important Notes
Per-Network Setting: Randomized MAC addresses can only be disabled on a per-network basis. For every new Wi-Fi network, you may need to repeat these steps.
Software Version Differences: Steps may vary slightly depending on the Android or iOS version. The instructions here apply to Android 10 and later, and iOS 14 and later.
Privacy Implications: Remember to enable MAC address randomization again if you no longer need to use a consistent MAC address, as it helps protect your privacy.
